We have a tight budget for a school or youth race. How can we make the medals look premium?
A good option is iron die struck soft enamel. It gives you bright colors and a solid metal feel at a lower cost.
You can also choose our stock metal frames with custom printed inserts. This helps you skip the mold fee entirely and keep the order more budget-friendly.
We need gold, silver, bronze, and different age groups. Do we need multiple mold fees?
No. If the medal shape and main design stay the same, we only need one mold. We can use the same mold and change the plating to gold, silver, and bronze.
For different age groups or award categories, we can laser engrave the text on the back to help you save money.
Will the medals rust or fade if kids run around or get them wet?
No. We use zinc alloy that does not rust, and the soft enamel colors are baked firmly into the medal. Each medal also gets a protective finish, so the colors will not easily fade or peel.
Our event is in 3 weeks. Is that enough time?
It may be possible, but the schedule is tight. Standard production takes about 20 days, while rush production generally takes 13–16 days.
