Our Factory
Compared with other suppliers, VeperPins operates its own in-house factory. Founded in 2006, the company initially specialized in custom lapel pins. As our business expanded, we introduced multiple advanced production machines in 2014 and began expanding our product line to include challenge coins, medals, keychains, and embroidered patches for promotional and commemorative purposes.
By 2026, our factory has grown to 290 employees. Among them, 216 are in the production department, enabling us to handle large-volume orders with fast turnaround times. Our design team consists of 33 professionals who help clients complete designs efficiently. Our sales and after-sales teams include 36 members, providing quick quotations and reliable customer support. The management team of 5 people is responsible for overall strategy and long-term development of the company.
What We Do
We do something very simple—we turn your ideas into real metal crafts you can actually hold in your hand.
Most of our customers come to us with a design, a concept, or sometimes just a rough idea. From there, we help them step by step refine the design, create samples, and move into production—until it becomes a custom enamel pin, challenge coin, medal, or keychain.
These products are often used for brand promotion, events, team rewards, or simply as meaningful collectibles. But for every customer, each piece carries its own story.

Hi, I’m Daniel, and I’ve been working in the metal gift industry for more than 20 years.
My story with metal products started back in 2003. At that time, I was working as a mold apprentice in a factory, learning how to make molds, adjust details, and understand the production process step by step.
Since I was young, I have always loved studying antiques, especially old metal pieces with history and character. So when I first started working with lapel pins, medals, challenge coins, and other metal products, I felt a real connection to this craft. The texture of the metal, the depth of the relief, the plating finish, and every small detail can completely change how a finished piece feels.
In 2006, my wife Lida and I decided to start our own business. At the beginning, it was just the two of us. We didn’t have all the equipment we have today. I was mainly responsible for talking with customers and making the molds based on their ideas. Lida would then take the molds we made and work with other factories to complete the next steps, such as plating, coloring, polishing, and packaging.
That period was not easy, but it taught us a lot. Because we followed every order by ourselves, we learned very clearly that even a small pin is not as simple as it looks. From design and mold making to sampling, plating, coloring, polishing, and final packing, every step matters.
Later, as we received more and more orders, we slowly started adding our own production equipment. From only being able to make molds in the beginning, to handling more and more production steps by ourselves, we have grown into a metal gift factory with a complete set of processing equipment.
What makes us even more proud is that we now have our own plating facility. This is very important for quality control, because the plating color, brightness, thickness, and consistency all have a direct impact on the final look and feel of a metal product.
From starting as a mold apprentice in 2003, to building this business with Lida in 2006, and now having our own production equipment and plating facility, we have always been focused on one thing: turning our customers’ ideas into metal products with real quality and detail.
Today, we make not only lapel pins, but also challenge coins, medals, keychains, and many other custom metal gifts. But no matter how the products change, our focus on details has never changed.
For us, every order is not just about making a product. It is about helping our customers turn a memory, a brand, or a special story into something they can actually hold in their hands.
Hi everyone, I’m James. I was born in 1995.
I studied Business English at university, so after graduation, I naturally started working in foreign trade sales. To be honest, when I first got into the metal gift industry, it wasn’t because I was really passionate about it from the beginning. I first learned about this industry while preparing for my graduation thesis and defense, and somehow that led me into this field. Haha.
Before joining VeperPins, I worked in metal gift sales in Guangdong, China. The main products I handled were custom lapel pins, medals, challenge coins, keychains, and other custom metal items. During that time, I followed up on many customer projects and also worked on orders for some large companies, so I became quite familiar with communication, quoting, sampling, production follow-up, and shipping.
After working in this industry for a while, I slowly found it quite interesting. Custom products are different from ready-made items. Every customer has different needs. Sometimes, a customer only sends us a logo, a rough sketch, or just a simple idea, and we need to help them confirm the size, craft, colors, plating, packaging, and all the small details step by step until it becomes a real product.
In 2022, I joined the VeperPins family. Since then, I have had the chance to work with more customers from different countries and take part in more types of custom projects.
In 2024, I started working as the Sales Supervisor. Now, besides following up with customers myself, I also work with our team on project details and help make the whole process smoother for our customers, from the first idea to the final product.
For me, metal gift sales is not just about quoting prices or taking orders. What matters more is understanding what the customer really wants, explaining the custom process clearly, and making sure every project is followed up properly so the customer can receive a product they are happy with.
Hi everyone, I’m Michael.
I want to share a little bit about how VeperPins started. To be exact, I’m the person who started VeperPins as a brand.
When I first joined the company, Daniel often talked to me about one thing. Our factory had been making metal gifts for many years, and the product quality was always good. But why did so many customers know the middlemen, instead of knowing the factory behind the products?
At that time, Daniel also told me a lot about the history of the factory. In the beginning, he made the molds himself and then took those molds to other factories for the next production steps. Later, step by step, the factory bought more equipment, expanded production, and slowly became the factory we have today, with a more complete production setup.
Honestly, after hearing those stories, I felt a lot. Because we really know how to make these products. We understand the details, the process, and the problems that can happen during production. But in the overseas market, many customers still didn’t know who we were. Very often, customers only saw the brand of a trading company or middleman, while the real factory stayed behind the scenes.
Daniel asked me at that time: Why can’t we build our own brand? Why is our product quality good, but our name is not well known? Why can’t customers directly know the people who actually make these products?
I started VeperPins with these questions in mind.
So why the name VeperPins? For us, Veper stands for a few simple but important things:
V stands for Vision. We want more customers to see the real factory behind the products.
E stands for Enamel, because enamel pins are one of our main products.
P stands for Precision. In custom metal gifts, details really matter.
E stands for Experience. We have been in this industry for many years, and we know where problems can happen during production.
R stands for Reliability. That means being reliable. When customers trust us with their designs, we take that seriously and do our best to make the products right.
So to us, VeperPins is not just a brand name. It feels more like our first step from behind the scenes to the front. In the past, we mostly made products for other people. Now, through our own brand, we hope customers can know us directly and talk directly with people who really understand production.
Hi everyone, I’m Sophia, and I’m the Design Supervisor at VeperPins.
I’ve always enjoyed design. To me, design is not just about making something look good. More importantly, it’s about turning an idea into something that can actually be made.
In my daily work, I often deal with designs that are not so simple. Sometimes customers send us a hand-drawn sketch, a logo, or just a rough idea. My job is to organize those ideas and turn them into clear production artwork that our factory team can understand and follow.
For example, I need to think about whether certain lines should be made thicker, whether the colors can be separated properly, which areas should be metal lines, which small details need to be simplified, and whether anything might affect plating or coloring later. These are all things we try to solve at the design stage.
I really enjoy this process. A good design file is not just a proof for the customer to review. It is also the bridge between the customer’s idea and the actual production. When the artwork is clear, sampling and production usually go much more smoothly.
At VeperPins, what gives me the most satisfaction is taking a customer’s rough or unfinished idea, organizing it step by step into clear artwork, and then seeing it become a real lapel pin, challenge coin, medal, or other metal gift that they can actually hold in their hands.
Hi everyone, I’m Emily, and I’m in charge of Customer Support at VeperPins.
I’m not the most talkative person, and I’m not very good at saying fancy things. But I’m good at organizing details, especially using data and records to keep track of each customer’s situation.
In my daily work, I collect and organize the questions customers often ask, the issues that may come up during orders, after-sales feedback, shipping updates, and any details that need special attention. This helps us do more than just solve one problem at a time. It also helps us see what can be improved before the same problem happens again.
For example, if many customers are confused about the same step, or if a certain production detail is often overlooked, we can prepare clearer explanations in advance. This makes the sales process easier, and it also helps customers avoid problems later.
To me, customer support is not only about replying to messages. It is more about keeping every customer’s information organized, following up carefully, and making sure the whole process feels smoother before and after the order.
I may not be the best speaker on the team, but I hope that by carefully tracking every detail, I can help customers feel more confident and comfortable when working with VeperPins.
Hi everyone, I’m Xi Fan, a little friend from the dog planet.
I can’t speak human language, so everything you’re reading here was written for me by Daniel. Haha 🤣
I’m Daniel and Lida’s dog, a Labrador Retriever born in 2021, and also the little office mascot at VeperPins.
I love chicken breast, carrots, spinach, and many other yummy things. And yes, I have a pretty big appetite. Food always makes me happy.
At the office, these lovely humans often play with me and make me laugh in their own way. I really enjoy being around them. I may not help with design, quotes, or production, but I bring a little joy to the team every day.
I hope my happiness can be shared with everyone at VeperPins, and also with every customer who supports us.
Alright, I’m off to play now. Bye bye! 🐾
